Linearz HIFU Lifting in Gangnam, Seoul: Procedure & Results
Linearz is a non-surgical HIFU (focused ultrasound) lifting treatment for mild sagging, jawline definition and firmer skin.
Linearz is a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) device that delivers heat to targeted depths of the skin and SMAS layer to trigger tightening and new collagen. It suits adults with mild to moderate laxity who want lifting without surgery. A face session usually takes about 20–40 minutes, with mild redness or tenderness for a few days at most; results develop over 1–3 months and typically last several months, so many patients repeat it 1–2 times a year. Pricing depends on the area and number of shots.
What is Linearz?
Linearz is a Korean high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) lifting device. It focuses ultrasound energy into small thermal points at set depths beneath the skin surface, including the superficial dermis, deeper dermis and the SMAS (the fibrous layer that facelift surgery tightens). The heat causes immediate contraction of tissue and starts a wound-healing response that builds new collagen over the following weeks.
Compared with older HIFU devices, Linearz uses linear-type delivery designed to spread energy more evenly, which many patients find more comfortable. It is a non-invasive treatment: there are no incisions or injections.
Who is it for?
- Mild to moderate sagging along the jawline, cheeks or under the chin
- Loss of firmness and early jowls
- Patients who want maintenance lifting between or instead of other treatments
- People who prefer little or no downtime
It is less suitable for very heavy skin laxity (where surgery may be more appropriate), active skin infection in the area, or patients who are pregnant. Your doctor will assess skin thickness and facial fat before recommending the number of shots.
Real result: RF lifting
A Nest Clinic lifting result (RF). HIFU lifting such as Linearz works on similar goals—firmer contours that develop over 1–3 months.
Procedure at Nest Clinic Gangnam
- Consultation: the doctor maps the areas to treat and chooses depths and shot count.
- Preparation: cleansing and, if needed, numbing cream.
- Treatment: the handpiece is passed across the mapped zones; you may feel warmth and brief deep prickling.
- After: you can usually return to normal activities the same day.
Linearz is often combined with RF lifting such as Thermage FLX or with collagen boosters like Juvelook when skin quality is also a concern.
Recovery and side effects
Mild redness, swelling or tenderness to the touch can occur and usually settles within hours to a few days. Temporary numbness or small bruises are uncommon. Avoid saunas, intense exercise and alcohol for a day or two, and use sunscreen. Fat loss is a possible side effect of any HIFU if energy is placed too superficially in thin faces, which is why depth selection matters.
Results and how long they last
Some tightening may be noticed right away, but the main effect builds gradually over 1–3 months as collagen remodels. Results commonly last around 6–12 months depending on age, skin condition and lifestyle; many patients schedule maintenance sessions once or twice a year. Results vary between individuals.
Cost
The cost depends on the treatment area (full face, jawline, neck) and the number of shots. Your doctor will give an exact quote after the consultation. For comparison of lifting options, see Shurink and Ultherapy.
